i've gotten a complaint that i haven't been blogging. well coming from someone who hasn't blogged since like dec when she went over to us for her hols... i say this: PUI LAH!

anyways, last saturday (time really flies man.. another weekend is here) we went for camp comedy 2008. and i must say it was unexpectedly good. the thai-american dude, he's pretty funny but the act that drew the most laughs and appluase was KUMAR! i have heard that he is good, but haven't had the chance to actually watch him in action. and seriously... he's funny than russell peters and that pablo dude (whom my bro was showing to me on youtube) put together. i guess it's because we can really relate to his jokes which are chokeful of local flavours.

for that 45 mins, kumar went from bashing certain powerful political figure to homosexuality to disgusting ang mohs to mas selamat (who doesn't these days?!) to racist jokes to his family. he began the show with a bang and ended it with an explosion. he is a pretty good dancer man!

i saw malays laughing at jokes made at their expense, i saw him critising indians and of cos bashing chinese (all in the great and awesome name of HUMOUR). i also saw, this ang moh dude who probably enjoyed the thai-american dude more than kumar, trying to comprehend what we found so funny about how others are scared of indians at the beach (apparently we all leave the water once we see indians approachin) or how if we put drugs out, malays will come out sniffing or that chinese men have small dicks but still wanna wear tight and small speedos to show whatever they don't have. his chinese girlfriend had to explain to him but i'm pretty sure the meanings and humour has been lost in translation. i can only say one thing, he sure wasn't enjoying it as his gf was laughing away.

(disclaimer: it must be noted that the above paragraph doesn't, in any way, represents my views on race. whatever written above was covered by kumar at camp comedy and i'm just recapping it. last thing i need is pple coming to my blog and calling me a racist. and making a big hoo-ha. i don't fancy appearing on the newpaper as 'the girl who made unnecessary racist remarks and bashed the gahmen'.)

for 38 bucks, we got to go around st james and find a club suitable to our tastes. we ended up back where we started the night. power house. the latin club had too many aunties and angmohs, dragon fly was a waste of our half hour cos the band didn't see to wanna start playing. broiler room was packed and the guy on stage was, least to say, abrasive. (yes i had a lot of complaints but so what?! it's true) and when we went back to power house, i felt like i was in a fish tank. we were the small fish and the other larger fish were swimming around us and preying on us. gross! *shudders* should we be flattered? i don't think so.

after our awesome clubbing experience in taiwan (which i have yet to blog, yes! i'm sorry!) clubbing here really pales in comparison man. sigh. taiwan had more cute guys and they were fucking polite - esp our 小弟 who came up and asked if his friend and him could dance with us. and were not in the least bit TOUCHY. unlike that night at power house, small little boys who are not even done with their NS tried to rubba with us. they are extremely dense, not being able to read to body language that we are not interested in rubba-ing with them. A*Holes. urgh... and creepy guys who try to 放电 with their eyes from a distance and attempt to rail you in. but come on lah you have to be at least lookable right?! urgh!

but it was a fun night tho. good company!! my clubbing kakis!!! ahahahah we are getting too old. we should just dress up real nice and sit and drink and look pretty. at least we'll be attracting working guys, no need to be good looking but financially stable lah...^_^ funny!

can't wait for touch tmr!!!!!!!!!! YAY!!!!!!! i'm going to sweat it out!!! *shivers with anticipation*
